The Guardsman - Preferred Hotels and Resorts

Unbelievable travel experience from the moment we walked in the doors... check in was outstanding as we waited a few minutes for our keys and was served a welcome beverage and snack in an absolutely spotless lobby/waiting salon. Staff couldn't have been more accommodating during our stay in every fashion of service such as housekeeping, room-service. etc... everyday day/night was provided with fresh (glass) water bottles, coffee and fresh cream. Rooms were absolutely spotless and comfortable in every aspect you can imagine. Concierge service from obtaining routes via transit to shopping/site seeing areas or dinner selections was spot on. It was our daughter's 16th birthday and she was welcomed in her room with fresh flowers and a slice of cake wishing her the best. We will certainly return to the Guardsman and it's professional staff and well located hotel.

This is a very nice hotel. Comfortable, squeaky clean, very well situated. And I was so pleased by all the help I got from the staff: Bartek helped me solve a number of challenges that I had during my stay (NOT caused by the hotel!). He did this in a very gracious way that made things really easy for me. For example he organized the shipment of some goods for me and I really was completely hassle free, so I could do the work I had come for to London. Also the gentleman who showed me my room did a very good job explaining to me the lighting system etc, thank you! Unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to taste the breakfast, I'm sure it's excellent.

What an amazing find! This place in incredible, the staff are so welcoming and professional, from check in to the bar (great cocktails as well!) everyone was perfect. The rooms have such a high quality feel to them, really high spec finish. The lobby area again feels welcoming, bright and of a really high standard. There is a traditional feel in a modern style that carries through the whole hotel, making it feel quite special. Being only 5 mins from Buckingham Palace and 15 mins to Hyde Park / Park Lane is another huge draw, and St James tube station is just 5 mins in the other direction putting you on the Circle or District lines, meaning the whole of Central London is within easy reach. We will 100% return to stay here again the future.
